Here’s some places to buy Apple Macintosh and related hardware:
- Database Systems. They not only sell the full range of new Apple Macintosh computers but also sell software for them, computer hardware, iPods, etc. They also service Macs. A great locally owned business that is highly recommended. Here’s the map:
- Computers Unlimited. They primarily deal in PCs but also have the occasional Mac. They service PCs and sell used equipment as well. Here’s the map:
- Apple, Inc. Obviously this should be one of your first destinations for researching the purchase of anything Apple makes. This is the mothership, so to speak. It’s good to buy from resellers though so they can also make a living. *hint hint*
- Small Dog. This place is a fantastic, smaller Macintosh reseller that really knows how to treat their customers well. It’s better to purchase locally but if you wish to try online buying this is a good place to start.
- Mac Sales/Other World Computing. I’ve personally ordered a great deal of upgrade RAM, peripherals and hard drives from them. Highly recommended. Their memory/RAM is as cheap as you’ll find and 100% guaranteed to work in your Mac. They also have great external Firewire/USB/SATA hard drives.
- Megamacs. An Oklahoma business that deals in used Macs, accessories, software and the like.
